Never Ending Dungeon has received an overwhelmingly positive response from the market, as evidenced by the success of our Kickstarter and Indiegogo campaigns.
With the support of over 6,500 enthusiastic backers, we have demonstrated that there is a strong demand for AI-powered tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) content. We are thrilled to be taking TTRPG sessions to the next level with NED.
In addition to the support from our backers, we have also received a generous R&D grant from the European Union worth $1,000,000. This grant will help us to continue our work in pushing the boundaries of TTRPG technology, allowing us to further develop and improve NED’s AI-powered tools and features.

Yes, of course! We are thinking about cyber, science-fiction, modern, Cthulhu, steampunk themes. Our goal is to create a product (maps and adventures) that covers as much of the RPG spectrum as possible. During the campaign we will focus on fantasy, but will also create maps for other categories!
At the start, there will be an open source system. After release, we will also add the ability to mod and add other systems. We want to introduce official licenses for the largest and most popular systems, but this depends on negotiations with our partners.
We are all both gamers and DMs, and we don’t want just one group to enjoy using NED! So gamers and DMs alike will find something to enjoy in our product. Some will get a better chance to create and visualize their maps, and others will enjoy better prepared adventures.
NED is a program for creating maps and adventures. In addition to the classic instant map creation, you can modify it manually, add to it, change it according to your idea!
In NED, you don’t have to build a map or create an adventure scenario, and our VTT is prepared for the option of exporting graphics to other platforms such as Roll20 or Foundry. And from the similarities – you will be able to roll the dice and move the figures of the characters 🙂
We really like (we supported DA ourselves during the campaign) the team behind this project and are big fans of theirs! The difference between NED and DA is very simple – NED is a tool for running sessions / creating adventures / playing campaigns. DA (as we understand it and as it currently stands) is a map generator. Very beautiful, aesthetically pleasing maps, but only maps. NED is a Swiss Army Knife for anyone interested in RPG!
We will have the ability to create our own characters (similar to Hero Forge) and export them.This feature will appear after the release as an update – it is not a key feature, but we want to have it in NED.
